MISSION STATEMENT:

Protecting Tribal resources now & for future generations.

The Hopland Tribal EPA Department strives:
  • To plan, develop, design, promote and administer sound environmental programs, regulations, codes and ordinances for the Hopland Band of Pomo Indians.

  • To assess, protect, and enhance the environmental Tribal resources (land, air, and water) on Reservation homelands in order to manage for multiple land uses.

  • To protect and conserve natural resources, wildlife and salmon habitats for current and future generations.

  • To support the cultural link of the Tribe to the natural resources throughout the Reservation that are used for traditional practices

As the Hopland Tribal EPA Department continues to ensure protection, conservation and restoration of Tribal homelands, conveying these messages to our community is just as important as us receiving it. So remember, if you have any questions about what you can do to become greener, reduce your waste, or recycle more, just give us a call and we'll be happy to help!!
